Description.

Make your own personal connection to the beauty and serenity of the Okere Falls sub-tropical Rainforest.

Learn how to identify some of New Zealand’s most well researched and abundant native herbs, now recognised Internationally for their powerful medicinal qualities.

Join us in our workshop, at your very own workstation where you will be shown how to recognise some of our more popular native herbs-Manuka, Kawakawa and Kanuka. During the workshop you will learn about some of the special properties of these plants, how they work and in what ways they can be used. You will also learn how to make these into healing balms and liquid tinctures for year-round use for your health and wellbeing.

You will leave our workshop with an understanding of some of the special benefits of herbal medicine and why it has been used for generations.
